It outperformed San Francisco in many areas, and what's more interesting is that there are always impressive technological developments every year. Space Needle in Seattle, WA, is an awe-inspiring place. It's open in a limited capacity and industry-leading, elevating clean standards. I love the experience in Space Needle – it's a new level of thrills, from an all-glass floor on the lower level to floor-to-ceiling glass at the upper level. Seattle to replace aging cherry trees near Pike Place Market.
I
read from The Seattle Times that there’s a debate over preserving the eight
aging cherry blossom trees located near the Pike Place Market because these
cherry blossom trees will be removed and replaced with younger trees in honor
of the ties of the city to Japanese culture. Mayor Bruce Harrel of Seattle
announced the plan last Friday after meeting with the members of the local
chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League and Save The Market Entrance,
the Pike Place Market preservation group. The mayor said that the Cherry
blossom trees are more than a symbol but invoke heartfelt feelings and
represent decades of good and bad history. Read more.
